In October 1989 a horrific meteor shower targeted Kansas, concealing the approach of a spaceship from the destroyed planet of Krypton. Lionel Luthor found the ship and its cargo, taking the toddler home to raise and all but extinguished the core of goodness inside the future Superman. He grew up as Clark Luthor; controlled with kryptonite, pitted against his siblings, hating his father and making plans for inevitable betrayal and world conquest. These plans were fueled through his murderous alter ego and led to discovery of other dimensions. Eventually he met an alternate who had been raised in a loving household and used his powers as a force for good. To his surprise, Clark discovered that might doesn't always mean right, and now must forge a new destiny on his own.
